Casino-Themed Art and Music Festivals

There are many casino-themed art and music festivals throughout the country, and they are a great way to experience the sights and sounds of the Vegas lifestyle. Las Vegas is home to many different festivals, from Viva Las Vegas to Rise Lantern Festival. The best part of these events is that they allow you to experience a variety of styles and genres of music, and many of them are free!

Rise Lantern Festival

Rise Lantern Festival is an annual event held in the Mojave Desert near Las Vegas. Its main goal is to spread joy and positive emotions through a combination of art, music, and community. The festival also features two lantern releases.

Thousands of lanterns are released into the night sky over a period of two hours. These biodegradable lanterns are retrieved from the surrounding desert after the event is over. During the process, attendees write personal messages or prayers on the lanterns.

The festival has partnerships with the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada, the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, and Communities in Schools of Southern Nevada. Aside from the lantern release, the festival offers a wide variety of music, food trucks, and merchandise. Some of the products are aesthetically pleasing and socially responsible.

The festival is designed to be accessible to everyone, and has ADA accommodations. However, there are limitations. Specifically, you cannot bring coolers or wagons to the event. You can only carry small bags with items you personally need.

One of the best parts of Rise Festival is the synchronized lantern launch. This includes live music and a fire display. There are three levels of early bird pricing, ranging from $79 to $99. In the early bird package, you’ll get a straw-mat, two lanterns, and a parking pass. Tickets can be purchased onsite, but are only valid for one day.

Although the lantern release is the highlight of the event, the music and live art shows are also a highlight of the experience. Music acts are selected to enhance the overall meditative tone of the event.

The RiSE Lantern Festival is the largest and most impressive event of its kind. The organizers claim to have gathered more than 30,000 participants in the event’s inaugural year.

Life is Beautiful

Life is Beautiful is a three-day festival that brings together music, art, culture, food and fun. Since it first took place in 2013, it has grown into one of the most highly-anticipated music festivals in North America. A festival that has attracted more than 1 million attendees, Life Is Beautiful has featured music from Stevie Wonder and Chance the Rapper to Arctic Monkeys and Foo Fighters.

Life is Beautiful is located in the heart of Las Vegas’ downtown. It’s easy to get to from The Strip and offers shuttles and app-based transportation options.

Life is Beautiful has four main stages and a variety of musical genres. Some highlights of the event include live fire cooking, a comedy lineup, and interactive art installations. Taking place over the course of three days, the festival also boasts a culinary village.

Guests can find food from a wide range of culinary styles, including vegan and vegetarian. The culinary experience includes local artisans, found goods, and gourmet food trucks. There will also be cooking classes, a cocktail school, and an Omakase Cantina. This year, there’s even a late-night option: Pop Up Pizza.

One of the most unique aspects of Life is Beautiful is the Art Motel, a collaborative art exhibit from Meow Wolf. Guests will be able to interact with a range of animals. Another unique feature is the Toyota Stage, a small stage that showcased new and emerging artists.

Life is Beautiful also features an indoor comedy club-like venue. Crapshoot Comedy has curated a list of comedians to perform during the festival.

Life is Beautiful also features a pool party. On Saturday and Sunday, attendees can dance and listen to music while sipping on beverages.

Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender

The Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender is one of the biggest music festivals in the world. This four-day event draws thousands of attendees from around the world. It is held in Las Vegas, Nevada, every year.

Viva Las Vegas is the brainchild of British DJ and promoter Tom Ingram. He launched the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender in 1997. His first event was incredibly successful. But a business partner ripped him off, leaving him with nothing. So, Ingram moved his business to Southern California and started the Viva Las Vegas.

Since then, Viva Las Vegas has grown to become the largest rockabilly festival in the world. Viva Las Vegas attracts tens of thousands of rockabilly fans and is a popular event for weddings and parties. Aside from music, Viva Las Vegas also features burlesque shows, a vintage fashion show, and a tattoo lounge.

At the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Show, you’ll find the best rockabilly music from over 75 bands and DJs. There are over 120 vendors, a tattoo lounge, and more. Besides music, you’ll also get to dance, play jive, and take burlesque classes. Viva Las Vegas also hosts a Classic Car Show and Tiki Pool Parties.

Viva Las Vegas has been held at the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas since 1996. During that time, it has been rescheduled for 24 consecutive years. Now, it will be held on April 14-17, 2019. Viva Las Vegas is a very popular festival that draws an incredible amount of attendees from Europe and Asia.

Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender will feature dozens of twirling hot rods, an assortment of vendors, and a classic car show. Moreover, there will be a record hop with live performances by Ezra Lee, Dave Philips & the Hot Rod Gang, BabyJai & the Infernos, Jai Malano, and Lance Lipinsky & the Lovers.

Afterparty NFT Art and Music Festival

Afterparty is a LA-based startup that uses digital verifiable assets to unlock real-world experiences. Through the platform, creators are able to connect with fans directly. They also offer exclusive merchandise and perks to fans. In addition to its platform, Afterparty holds smaller intimate events.

Its NFT-Gated Arts & Music Festival arrives in March. It’s the first of its kind. The festival will be held at an immersive entertainment venue called AREA15. Located off Desert Inn Road, it features technology-driven art.

The event will feature a number of popular artists and DJs. Guests can access the festival by buying NFTs from a special collection. For example, the Utopian Collection. Each Utopian holder has artist-level access to the event. This means they will receive two guest passes. However, non-Utopians will need to compete for a spot on the guest list.

The lineup for Afterparty’s first-ever NFT Art and Music Festival is set to be announced soon. Headliner The Chainsmokers are expected to perform, along with a variety of other NFT artists.

The festival will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 18-19, 2022. Unlike traditional festivals, attendees will not have to pay for tickets. Instead, they will be able to purchase admission in the form of NFTs from the Guardian collection. Those who own an NFT will receive a lifetime VIP entrance ticket.

The event is produced by Afterparty, a company that is devoted to fostering a community for artists and fans. The company has received funding from a number of influential investors. Some of them include Andre Igudala, Paris Hilton, Jason Calacanis, and Acrew Capital. Other notable names include Echosmith, Snoop Dogg, and Nile Rodgers.

La Selva

The La Selva hotel is a glitzy (if not gimmicky) destination in the Mexican Riviera. It’s not far from the Mayan ruins of Tulum, but its proximity to a major metropolitan center makes it an ideal weekend getaway. Aside from the aforementioned attractions, the hotel boasts a plethora of amenities including golf, tennis, and even a spa. If it’s fine dining you’re after, you’re in luck. In fact, a recent study ranked the hotel’s restaurant in the top ten of all hotels in Mexico.

With an average rate of $240 per night, the hotel is a steal. But with a bill that skyrockets from one night to four, you might be best advised to book in advance. Luckily, the hotel’s concierge will happily guide you to your accommodations. Of course, the name of the game is to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

The hotel’s award-winning spa has been a popular splurge for years. Its plethora of treatments includes a sauna, steam room, and a brisk walk to the onsite fitness center. Alternatively, if you’re in the mood for a less sane night’s sleep, the hotel offers a swanky suite complete with a private plunge pool, his and hers bathrooms, and a personal concierge.
